By makers for makers - The European festival for creativity, technology and innovation

Last week, from 29 June to 2 July, the focus was on the makers of Chemnitz at MakersUnited. With CADA - Chemnitz Automated Driving Alliance, we were also at the trade fair for the third time and gave an insight into our work. Visitors were able to get hands-on and use Funduino and LEGO MINDSTORMS to assemble, programme and test their own autonomous driving car.

We are delighted that our offer met with so much interest and that we were able to get so many children interested in our technology topics. The little visitors' eyes were wide open and they were busy tinkering, building and trying things out. This shows us how important it is to organise such events and to introduce children to STEM subjects at an early age through play.
