RoboDay 2025 – Experience enthusiasm for technology up close!

On 17 May 2025, the Central Lecture Hall Building at Chemnitz University of Technology was once again transformed into a center for hashtag#robotics and hashtag#innovation. RoboDay 2025 offered young inventors the opportunity to present their self-built robots in exciting competitions such as the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) and RoboSAX.

The participants, aged between 8 and 22, competed in teams to solve complex tasks - be it navigating autonomous robots through demanding courses or developing innovative robotic solutions for real-life challenges. In addition to the competitions, visitors of all ages were able to get active themselves at interactive hands-on stations: The program included programming robots, testing mini-vehicles and experiencing technology up close.

Many thanks to the organization team of the ICM - Institut Chemnitzer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V., the TU Chemnitz and all supporters and partners who made this day possible. Their dedicated work makes a significant contribution to getting young people interested in STEM subjects and promoting the next generation of engineers.

Especially in times of digital change, promoting skills in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (hashtag#MINT) is more important than ever. Events such as RoboDay make a valuable contribution to arousing curiosity, promoting creativity and inspiring the skilled workers of tomorrow.
